IB Administration

We welcome prospective and current students to the Hillsborough High School IB Parent Alliance website!

There are four Hillsborough County Public School high schools offering the IB Program: Hillsborough, King, Robinson, and Strawberry Crest. Upon acceptance into the program students will attend one of these high schools based on IB transportation areas. The IB program is a four year program and only accpets students at the beginning of 9th grade, unless they are transferring from another authorized IB World School.

The International Baccalaureate Program
The IB Program consists of a two-year pre-IB program and two-year pre-university course of study designed to meet the needs of highly motivated students and to promote international understanding. The effectiveness of the IB program is due not only to the depth of the individual courses, but also to the comprehensive nature of the program.
